AI Principles & Responsible Use
Last updated: 2026-05-27.
Draft for review — final wording confirmed before public launch.
Stay With The Question ("SWTQ") is an AI-assisted reflective inquiry platform designed to support:
- self-reflection;
- intentional questioning;
- perspective exploration;
- journaling;
- and personal insight development.
SWTQ is operated by FalconBridge Partners FZC LLC.
This document outlines the principles that guide how SWTQ approaches:
- artificial intelligence;
- emotional safety;
- user autonomy;
- privacy;
- and responsible product design.
We believe emotionally sensitive AI systems require:
- transparency;
- humility;
- governance discipline;
- and clear emotional boundaries.
1. SWTQ Is Designed for Reflective Inquiry — Not Therapy
SWTQ is intended as a reflective inquiry and coaching tool.
SWTQ is not:
- therapy;
- psychiatric treatment;
- medical care;
- crisis intervention;
- or emergency support.
We intentionally avoid positioning SWTQ as a replacement for:
- human relationships;
- licensed mental-health care;
- medical professionals;
- or emergency services.
Users should seek qualified human support when needed.
2. Transparency About AI Use
SWTQ uses artificial intelligence systems to generate reflective coaching and inquiry responses.
We believe users should clearly understand when they are interacting with AI systems.
Accordingly:
- SWTQ discloses that responses are AI-generated;
- onboarding includes AI transparency language;
- and users are reminded that AI systems can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or emotionally unsuitable.
We do not present SWTQ as conscious, sentient, human, or emotionally authoritative.
3. Human Autonomy Comes First
SWTQ is designed to support user reflection — not replace user judgment.
We believe users should:
- maintain independent decision-making;
- use personal judgment;
- seek human support where appropriate;
- and avoid excessive emotional dependence on AI systems.
We intentionally design SWTQ to reduce unhealthy psychological reliance where feasible.
4. Emotional Safety and Boundaries
We recognize that reflective AI systems may interact with emotionally sensitive topics.
Accordingly, SWTQ includes:
- crisis-boundary messaging;
- automated safety interventions;
- support-resource escalation;
- onboarding disclosures;
- and non-therapy framing.
However:
- AI systems are limited;
- crisis detection is imperfect;
- and SWTQ cannot guarantee emotional safety or prevention of harm.
Users should not rely on SWTQ during emergencies or crisis situations.
5. Privacy and Sensitive Information
We believe emotionally sensitive disclosures deserve heightened care.
SWTQ attempts to apply:
- data minimization principles;
- operational access restrictions;
- infrastructure security controls;
- vendor governance;
- and transparent privacy disclosures.
Where feasible, SWTQ minimizes unnecessary exposure of direct identifiers in AI processing.
We do not intentionally use identifiable coaching-session content to train public AI systems.
6. Responsible AI Design Principles
The SWTQ platform is guided by the following principles:
Transparency
Users should understand:
- what SWTQ is;
- how AI is involved;
- and where the system's limitations exist.
Psychological Realism
We avoid presenting AI systems as:
- emotionally omniscient;
- human-equivalent;
- or psychologically authoritative.
Non-Dependency
We aim to reduce:
- unhealthy emotional attachment;
- overreliance;
- and dependency-oriented product dynamics.
User Autonomy
Users remain responsible for:
- decisions;
- actions;
- interpretations;
- and personal wellbeing.
Safety-Conscious Design
We attempt to:
- identify foreseeable emotional risks;
- implement proportional safeguards;
- and maintain clear boundaries around crisis situations.
Continuous Learning
We expect AI governance expectations to evolve.
We intend to periodically review:
- product behavior;
- onboarding clarity;
- safety systems;
- privacy practices;
- and governance approaches.
7. AI Limitations
AI systems are inherently imperfect.
SWTQ responses may:
- be inaccurate;
- be incomplete;
- misunderstand context;
- generate emotionally unsuitable outputs;
- or fail to recognize risk situations.
Users should exercise independent judgment when interacting with the platform.
No AI-generated response should be treated as:
- medical advice;
- psychological diagnosis;
- legal advice;
- financial advice;
- or emergency guidance.
8. Crisis Situations and Support
SWTQ is not monitored by therapists or emergency responders.
Users experiencing:
- suicidal thoughts;
- self-harm risk;
- emotional crisis;
- abuse situations;
- or medical emergencies
should contact local emergency services or qualified support providers immediately.
SWTQ may use automated systems to:
- pause coaching interactions;
- display support resources;
- or restrict certain functionality where crisis-related language is detected.
These systems are limited and may not detect all crisis situations.
9. Responsible Growth Philosophy
We believe emotionally sensitive AI products should scale carefully.
As SWTQ evolves, we intend to continue reviewing:
- emotional-risk dynamics;
- user feedback;
- safety mechanisms;
- privacy practices;
- and governance structures.
We believe responsible product development requires:
- transparency;
- humility;
- and willingness to revise systems over time.
10. Methodology Independence
SWTQ is designed as an independent reflective-inquiry system.
We aim to develop:
- original orchestration approaches;
- original terminology;
- and independent product architecture.
We respect the intellectual-property rights of third parties and periodically review our methodology positioning accordingly.
11. Future Governance Commitments
As SWTQ grows, we may expand governance practices relating to:
- AI safety review;
- vendor oversight;
- data governance;
- onboarding transparency;
- and emotionally sensitive interaction design.
We believe responsible AI governance is an ongoing process rather than a one-time exercise.
12. Strategic Philosophy
Our goal is not to create an AI system that replaces human connection, therapy, or human judgment.
Our goal is to create a reflective tool that:
- supports thoughtful inquiry;
- encourages perspective awareness;
- and helps users engage more consciously with their own thinking.
We believe emotionally sensitive AI systems should:
- respect user autonomy;
- acknowledge their limitations honestly;
- and avoid encouraging unhealthy psychological dependence.
