Crisis & Safety Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-10.
Draft for review — final wording confirmed before public launch.
This Crisis and Safety Policy explains how Stay With The Question ("SWTQ") approaches user safety, emotional-distress situations, crisis-related content, and emergency-risk limitations.
This Policy forms part of the SWTQ Terms of Service.
SWTQ is operated by FalconBridge Partners FZC LLC, an Ajman Free Zone company registered in the United Arab Emirates.
1. Important Scope Limitation
SWTQ is an AI-assisted coaching and self-inquiry platform.
SWTQ is not:
- therapy;
- psychotherapy;
- counselling;
- psychiatric care;
- mental-health treatment;
- crisis intervention;
- suicide-prevention services;
- emergency support; or
- a replacement for qualified human care.
The Service is not monitored continuously by mental-health professionals or emergency responders.
You should not rely on SWTQ during:
- suicidal thoughts;
- self-harm risk;
- mental-health emergencies;
- severe emotional distress;
- abuse situations;
- medical emergencies; or
- situations involving imminent risk of harm.
If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis-support provider immediately.
2. AI Limitations and Emotional Safety
The SWTQ platform uses artificial intelligence systems to generate reflective coaching and inquiry responses.
AI systems are limited and may:
- misunderstand user intent;
- fail to recognize crisis situations;
- produce inappropriate or emotionally unsuitable responses;
- generate inaccurate information; or
- fail to respond appropriately to emotional distress.
AI-generated responses are not reviewed in real time by clinicians, therapists, or emergency personnel.
You acknowledge and accept these limitations when using the Service.
3. Crisis Detection Systems
SWTQ uses automated systems intended to identify certain language patterns associated with:
- self-harm;
- suicidal ideation;
- acute emotional distress; or
- crisis-risk situations.
These systems are automated and probabilistic.
They may:
- fail to detect genuine crisis situations;
- incorrectly flag non-crisis content; or
- produce inaccurate safety assessments.
FalconBridge does not guarantee that crisis situations will be identified.
The crisis-detection system is intended solely as a limited safety-support measure.
4. Safety Actions We May Take
If our systems identify language or behavior associated with potential crisis risk, SWTQ may, at its discretion:
- pause coaching functionality;
- temporarily restrict access to portions of the Service;
- display crisis-support resources;
- send support-resource emails;
- preserve operational logs related to the event;
- generate internal safety alerts;
- request confirmation before coaching resumes; and/or
- take additional safety-related measures reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or third parties.
Certain features, including journaling or regulation tools, may remain available during temporary coaching restrictions.
Users acknowledge and consent to these automated and operational safety measures.
4.1 Proportional Safety Responses
SWTQ may apply different safety interventions depending on the nature of detected language. Expressions of significant distress may result in a brief wellbeing check-in. Language suggesting potential self-harm or suicide may result in stronger interruption measures and presentation of support resources. These measures are precautionary only and do not constitute clinical assessment.
5. Emergency Intervention Disclaimer
SWTQ does not provide emergency response services.
FalconBridge has no obligation to:
- monitor users continuously;
- contact emergency services;
- conduct wellness checks;
- intervene in crisis situations; or
- prevent harm.
However, where legally permitted and reasonably necessary in situations involving credible risk of serious harm or threat to life, FalconBridge reserves the right to contact:
- emergency services;
- law enforcement;
- crisis-support organizations; or
- other appropriate parties.
Such intervention decisions may be based on limited information and may not always be accurate or effective.
FalconBridge assumes no responsibility for the actions, omissions, availability, or conduct of emergency responders or third parties.
6. Crisis Resource Information
Where crisis-related content is identified, SWTQ may display or provide links to:
- international crisis-resource directories;
- country-specific support lines;
- emergency contact numbers; or
- mental-health support organizations.
Resource availability varies by jurisdiction and may change over time.
FalconBridge does not guarantee:
- the availability;
- accuracy;
- accessibility;
- responsiveness; or
- quality
of any third-party crisis resource.
Users remain responsible for seeking appropriate support.
7. Temporary Lockouts and Coaching Restrictions
SWTQ may temporarily suspend or restrict coaching functionality after detection of crisis-related content.
The purpose of these restrictions is to:
- discourage reliance on AI coaching during crisis situations;
- redirect users toward appropriate human support; and
- reduce foreseeable safety risks.
Restriction durations may vary and may be adjusted operationally over time.
These restrictions are automated operational safeguards and do not constitute clinical assessment.
8. User Responsibilities
By using SWTQ, you agree that you are responsible for:
- evaluating your own emotional and mental-health needs;
- deciding whether the Service is appropriate for your circumstances;
- seeking qualified human support when needed;
- contacting emergency services where appropriate; and
- using independent judgment regarding any AI-generated content.
You agree not to rely on SWTQ as a substitute for emergency support or clinical care.
9. Privacy and Safety Logs
Where safety systems are triggered, SWTQ may maintain limited operational records relating to:
- account identifiers;
- timestamps;
- system actions;
- lockout periods;
- safety-event metadata; and
- internal operational alerts.
These records may be retained for:
- security purposes;
- legal compliance;
- platform integrity;
- abuse prevention; and
- operational review.
Handling of personal data remains subject to the SWTQ Privacy Policy.
10. No Guarantee of Safety or Harm Prevention
Use of the Service does not guarantee:
- emotional improvement;
- crisis prevention;
- safety outcomes;
- harm reduction; or
- mental-health support.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FalconBridge disclaims liability arising from:
- user reliance on the Service during crisis situations;
- failure of automated systems to detect risk;
- false-positive or false-negative safety detections;
- delayed or unavailable crisis resources; or
- user actions or decisions.
11. International Use
SWTQ is accessible globally.
Crisis resources, emergency services, reporting obligations, and legal standards differ across jurisdictions.
Users are responsible for understanding and accessing support services available in their local jurisdiction.
12. Changes to This Policy
FalconBridge may update this Crisis and Safety Policy periodically to reflect:
- operational changes;
- legal developments;
- safety-system updates;
- product changes; or
- evolving risk-management practices.
Material changes may be communicated through email, in-app notices, or publication within the Service.
